This is my first post at my new GetRV blog. The purpose of this new blog is to share information and news of interest to fans of RV rentals, vacations, and adventure travel. This blog is NOT officially associated with GetRV.com, although I've used their service, and I thought it was a great experience. Mostly, the domain was available, and I really liked it, so I thought I'd start blogging about travel here. If the owners of GetRV.com object, I'll obviously take the site down or change the URL.
What can you expect in future posts here at the GetRV blog? I'll write about some of my own adventures traveling, mostly as they related to road trips. I don't really fly much anymore. I don't like airports, and I'm afraid of heights, so when I go somewhere, I usually drive. I'm a big fan of the sights to see on Route 66, for example, and since I live in the DFW metroplex area, a lot of the news and travel tips I offer will be related to road trips you can take from this area.
